In today's article let's have a look back at some of the greatest moments of the Euro 2000 tournament which was co-hosted (for the first time in history) by Belgium and the Netherlands between 10 June and 2 July 2000.
The 2000 UEFA European Champions: France
The winner France defeated Italy 2-1 in the final after a golden goal by France's David Trezeguet.

Top scorer of the tournament were Patrick Kluivert (The Netherlands) and Savo Milosevic (Yugoslavia), both scoring 5 goals.
Zinedine Zidane was announced as UEFA Player of the Tournament
