The Tennis Masters Cup is a tennis tournament played at the end of each year. Only top eight players in the men's tennis world rankings plays on this tournament. For last three years the Tennis Masters Cup has been organised in Shanghai, China.

Unlike most of the other events on the men's tour, the Tennis Masters Cup is not usual knock-out tournament. The eight players are divided into two groups of four, and play three round-robin matches each against the other three players in their group.
The two players from each group progress to the semifinals, with the winners meeting in the final to determine the champion.
In 2009 the Masters will be renamed the ATP World Tour Finals and it will be staged at The O2 in London from 2009 to 2012
