Goals from long range are always impressive. And if goal is scored from inside the scorer's half - than then this is something worth seeing more than just once. It is not easy to score from long range, because it takes a special skill and is not just about power. This is why such goals are so rare.
Firstly, here is superb longest range goal ever scored in FA Premier League. This achievement belongs to Tottenham’s goalkeeper Paul Robinson who scored against Watford on 17th March 2007. Robinson scored from distance of 80 meters.
On 7 January 2006, in a FA Cup match against Luton Town, Xabi Alonso scored a goal form astonishing 60 meters.
